CREATING STELLAR SUPERVISORS—BECAUSE NO ONE REALLY TEACHES YOU HOW TO BE A GOOD BOSS… (UNTIL NOW)

Be the kind of boss that people never want to leave

If you are ready to take your management and leadership skills to the next level so you can create more productive, engaged teams, this program is for you.

Remember – people don’t leave organizations, they leave bad bosses.

These are fun and enjoyable trainings. And it’s helpful and necessary to gather with other departments, hear the issues facing the organization and talk about approaches to handling situations. Also – the marshmallow challenge is hard to top. People are loving these training classes and enjoy you as facilitator!

Jenny, Accounting Supervisor

If you are struggling to create productive and engaged teams, you aren’t alone.

You were probably promoted to supervise others because you are great at the work and have incredible technical expertise, but no one really teaches you how to manage and lead people.

Does this sound familiar:

=

You have people that are not doing their best work (but you know they have potential)

=

Turnover is high, causing staff shortages (and extra work for everyone)

=

The team is struggling to communicate and work together (and no one is sure how to fix it)

=

People treat the work like a job that they have to do, not one they are excited to do (and do well)

Imagine how much good you could do for your clients and customers if you were fully staffed and all of your people were performing at their highest capacity.

What could you accomplish if you could:

      • Get the very best from every person on your team
      • Reduce your turnover, stay fully staffed, and not burn out your people
      • Build teams that work together like a well-oiled machine
      • Create a culture where people feel welcomed and supported and are excited to come to work every day

We know how important managers are to the success of a team and an organization – we’ve had bad bosses that we have left and good bosses that have brought out the very best in us (and we never wanted to leave).

We can help you be the good kind.

This program was very interactive – by far the best training class I’ve attended.

Mike M., Team Lead

That’s why we created the Prodigy Leadership Academy

So you can be the kind of boss that people never want to leave

How It Works:

Prodigy Leadership Academy is a program designed to give managers and supervisors the skills they need to lead people better – ensuring higher engagement and productivity and teams that are welcoming and high-functioning.

We know how to design programs for adult learning. Lectures and PowerPoints don’t cut it in the real world. People need to engage, discuss, participate, and act – so our program incorporates all of this along with the best practices and theories about leadership that we know develop people into the most successful leaders.

The program is capped to 20 participants to ensure individual attention and network building.

Features:

      • Five half-day sessions with dynamic, interactive content that will keep you engaged and learning the whole time (you won’t even think about checking your email or resting your eyes)
      • Two open dialogue sessions where you can get advice and feedback on your specific management challenges
      • Interaction with managers from other organizations and industries so you can network, learn from others, and gain new and different perspectives
      • Workbooks and supporting materials so you can access your tool kit anytime

What will you learn?

Be the kind of boss that people never want to leave

This class was great. I really enjoyed being able to talk with other supervisors, seeing they are going through the same thing, and getting ideas on how to handle situations. I gained new perspectives on working with others.

So You Have Some Questions

Can I really afford to be away from work for a half day every two weeks?

My question for you is can you afford not to? Remember, people don’t leave companies, they leave bad bosses. With the Great Resignation and changing expectations from employees, now is the time to ensure you create the kind of work environment that makes people want to stay.

We’ve led programs where an entire 100-person organization had half of their middle management staff (20 people) in half-day sessions at the same time. It was more than fine – it changed the entire culture of leadership within that organization, making it worth every second people were “away from work.”

How interesting and actionable is this program really going to be? I’ve wasted my time and energy on boring training in the past, and I don’t want to do it again.

We are expert facilitators for adult learners – meaning we know that lectures and PowerPoints won’t do the job. Our sessions are intentionally designed to create space for you to engage with the material and your classmates, draw on your own experiences, and turn world-class leadership theories into practical tools you can use as soon as you get back to the office.

How do I convince my boss to let me take the program (and pay for it)?

Hopefully, you have a boss who cares about your development and career growth, so telling them that you really want to be in the program and that it will benefit your overall career trajectory will be enough.

But we don’t all have bosses like that, do we?

So here are some other things you can share to help convince your boss if they aren’t already on board:

Turnover costs about 33% of an employee’s salary. You taking the Prodigy Leadership Academy will improve your skills to train, develop, and retain your staff, reducing turnover – which can directly save the company money.

According to Gallup, disengaged employees cost their company the equivalent of 18% of their annual salary. And 70% of employee engagement comes from the way they are managed. Improving your own leadership and management skills can keep employees engaged and happy – again contributing directly to the bottom line of your company.

If you work in an industry with a large percentage of young workers (under the age of 25), it can be especially tricky to navigate their needs in comparison to previous generations. This program will talk about how to handle generational differences in each area we cover and you can be a resource to your boss and company in managing those younger employees.

Is there a nonprofit discount?

Don’t wait another day to build the kind of team that outperforms, changes the world, and has a hell of a good time doing it.
